A 2.9 magnitude earthquake struck North Korea’s northwestern province bordering China on Thursday, the South Korean climate company mentioned.
The quake struck an space 26 kilometers southeast of Ryongrim, Jagang Province, at 11 a.m., with its epicenter on the latitude of 40.32 levels north and a longitude of 126.86 levels east at a depth of 27 kilometers, the Korea Meteorological Administration mentioned.
The earthquake is believed to have occurred naturally, it added. (Yonhap)
