Sipadan Access Notice
According to Sabah Parks regulations, Sipadan Island is closed every November each year for conservation purposes.
- Additional Sipadan day dives or snorkeling trips may be requested in advance, subject to permit availability
- Extra permits may incur additional charges
- Fishing and fish feeding are strictly prohibited
- Water activities are only allowed through the dive center
- Swimming near rooms or the jetty is not permitted
- Life jackets must be worn and fastened during snorkeling
- Touching, stepping on, or damaging coral is forbidden
- Do not touch marine life, including turtles and fish
