Seven last-second withdrawals have led to a large open draw at Ningbo, China this week.
Anastasia Potapova (GI Sickness), Ekaterina Alexandrova (proper shoulder harm), Emma Navarro (sickness), Jasmine Paolini (Left foot harm), Luidmila Samsonova (undisclosed), Yafan Wang [WC] (decrease again harm) and Zheng Qinwen have all pulled out of the 28-player area, giving seven fortunate losers an opportunity to make waves in a WTA 500 draw.
Barbora Krejcikova, seeded fourth, is the highest-ranked remaining participant within the draw.
The Czech will face Fortunate Loser Yexin Ma within the second spherical.
Fifth-seeded Daria Kasatkina and eighth-seeded Paula Badosa have already reached the quarterfinals, together with Yulia Putintseva and Mirra Andreeva.

Ma and Fortunate Loser Jaqueline Cristian (who changed second-seeded Zheng) are the one fortunate losers nonetheless remaining within the draw. Cristian will face Karolina Muchova on Thursday.
