McLaren driver Lando Norris insisted he was “fairly pleased” with third place on the grid for the Mexico Metropolis Grand Prix, regardless of having topped Q1 and Q2 in a dramatic qualifying session.
Norris entered the weekend with a run of 4 pole positions throughout the previous 5 grands prix held for the reason that summer season break, having topped qualifying in Zandvoort, Monza, Marina Bay and Austin.
