The Catholic Memorial neighborhood suffered a serious loss Friday evening with the passing of Ronald S. Perry Sr. on the age of 92.
A legendary two-sport standout at Somerville Excessive the place he was a member of a state championship staff in each basketball and baseball. Perry went on to Holy Cross the place he grew to become the primary and solely New England collegiate athlete to be a member of nationwide championship groups in two main sports activities (1952 baseball, 1954 basketball).
