The York Vaults, also referred to as the Victorian Vaults, will shut on Wednesday, December 11 after buying and selling as a pub for greater than 160 years in Nunnery Lane.
In a joint assertion posted on Fb, licensees Chris White and his accomplice Niki stated the freehold of the pub has been bought to its proprietor, property firm Appleton Estates Ltd.

Black Sabbath tribute band Jack Sabbath will play the final gig on the Vaults on Saturday, December 7.
