The York Vaults, also referred to as the Victorian Vaults, will shut on Wednesday, December 11 after buying and selling as a pub for greater than 160 years in Nunnery Lane.
In a joint assertion posted on Fb, licensees Chris White and his accomplice Niki stated the freehold of the pub has been bought to its proprietor, property firm Appleton Estates Ltd.
