An Edmonton Police Service officer was caught on digital camera working over a lady with a marked cruiser final month.
The incident occurred in a car parking zone at 106 Road and 107 Avenue within the late night of Oct. 20.
An EPS spokesperson says police had been known as for a welfare verify on the car parking zone.
When the officer arrived on scene he ran over the lady who wanted help.
“The officer checked on the lady and instantly known as for medical help,” Cheryl Sheppard of EPS wrote. “EMS and Edmonton Fireplace Rescue Companies responded and assessed the lady on scene, however she refused medical therapy and tried to go away, exhibiting no signal of damage.”
Police say the lady was transported to a close-by shelter and officers adopted up along with her 24 hours later to substantiate no additional medical therapy was required.
The key collisions unit continues to be investigating.
“This was a particularly unlucky accident,” Sheppard mentioned.
