South Korea’s largest umbrella labor union and the farmers’ affiliation held an enormous rally in central Seoul on Wednesday in opposition to the Yoon Suk Yeol administration, inflicting visitors congestion, officers mentioned.
An estimated 6,000 members of the Korean Confederation of Commerce Unions (KCTU) and the overall affiliation of nationwide farmers, merely often called Junnong, staged a joint rally in downtown Seoul, lashing out on the Yoon authorities for inflicting financial hardships for farmers and the folks amid excessive inflation and a fall in rice costs.

However no bodily clashes between protesters and cops have been reported.
When the KCTU held an anti-government rally earlier this month, some members clashed with police who tried to regulate the gang, and the opposition facet has demanded an apology by police chief Cho Ji-ho and the punishment of these answerable for the incident.
The KCTU vowed to carry a 3rd rally in opposition to the federal government on Dec. 7. (Yonhap)
