Japanese productions proceed to shine abroad, with French-Japanese drama collection “Les Gouttes de Dieu” (“Drops of God”) taking house finest drama on the Worldwide Emmy Awards on Tuesday.
Tailored by Quoc Dang Tran, the collection is predicated on a 2004 manga by Yuko and Shin Kibayashi (below the pseudonym Tadashi Agi), and Shu Okimoto set on the planet of wine and high-quality eating. It stars Japanese actor Tomohisa Yamashita within the lead position reverse French actor Fleur Geffrier.
The collection was financed by French nationwide public broadcaster France Televisions, America’s Legendary Leisure and Hulu Japan, with Apple TV shopping for the rights to air the collection apart from in France and Japan. Apple has reportedly signed on for a second season.
