Strasbourg, France) – The final directorate of the European Parliament liable for cybersecurity will transfer from Brussels to Strasbourg in 2025, in response to a parliamentary supply, confirming a web-based every day La Lettre report.
The choice to relocate this basic directorate to the Alsace metropolis, which already homes the Dangers and Threats of Cybersecurity unit, was made on December 16 by the European Parliament’s bureau, the supply added.
For its half, the European Parliament’s communication service solely confirmed to AFP a “reorganization” of the Directorate-Common for Innovation and Technological Assist (ITEC), of which cybersecurity is among the duties, “from April 1, 2025”.
