David Krejci has been having fun with success in Czech Republic, scoring objectives at a near-career-high price, and he’ll put his abilities on show subsequent month in Beijing.
The previous Boston Bruins middle was named to the 2022 Beijing Olympics, that are set to happen subsequent month, his new staff Olomouc tweeted Thursday morning.
“Olomouc ahead David Krejčí was formally nominated for the 2022 Olympic Video games in Beijing at the moment. Congratulations and we want you a variety of hockey success!” the tweet learn.

Krejci will not be joined by former teammate David Pastrnak after the NHL determined to not ship its gamers to the Olympics. Pastrnak was named to the Czech Republic Olympic hockey staff in October.
The 35-year-old Krejci left the Bruins within the offseason after spending 15 seasons with Boston. It is unclear if he has plans to return to the NHL, however he did all the time say returning to his native Czech Republic was a part of the plan.
The Olympics are set to start Feb. 4.
