Romeo Dallaire is able to return to public life once more this fall after a critical well being scare pressured the retired lieutenant-general to postpone his cross-country e book tour in March.
“With the love of (my spouse) and her maintaining a tally of me and all of the exams, I used to be very grateful for all of the assist I obtained,” Dallaire stated.
In an unique interview with CTV’s Energy Play with Vassy Kapelos, Dallaire explains he contracted pneumonia almost seven months in the past, which led to discovery of a mass on his organs.
After months of exams and worsening signs, medical doctors discovered he had been carrying a lingering an infection he contracted whereas on a 1992 mission in Cambodia. Antibiotics have since cured him.
