Air Fryer Shrimp: Crispy Pineapple and Shrimp Delight Recipe

Pineapple Fried Dough Shrimp Balls Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 large fried dough sticks
  • 150g pineapple (cut into small pieces)
  • 1 tablespoon honey mustard sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 300g shrimp (minced)
  • 1/2 tablespoon cooking wine
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • A pinch of white pepper
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions:

1、Cut the fried dough into 5cm pieces and hollow them out with your fingers. Set aside.

2、To prepare the shrimp balls: If you can’t find pre-made shrimp balls, make your own. Mince 300g shrimp, then add 1/2 tablespoon cooking wine, 1/2 tablespoon salt, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, and a pinch of white pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for 15 minutes. After marinating, place the shrimp mixture into a piping bag.

3、Using a pair of scissors, cut the tip of the piping bag and carefully pipe the shrimp mixture into the hollowed-out fried dough pieces.

4、Preheat the air fryer with a light coat of oil. Arrange the stuffed fried dough and shrimp balls upright in the fryer. Set the temperature to 180°C and cook for 10 minutes, flipping them halfway through.

5、Once done, transfer the crispy dough and shrimp balls to a bowl. Add 150g of pineapple pieces, 1 tablespoon of honey mustard sauce, and 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise. Mix everything together until well coated.

6、Serve on a plate and garnish with a pinch of chopped parsley. Enjoy this golden, crispy, and irresistible treat!
