SAN JOSE – Authorities on Monday introduced an arrest in a gang-motivated capturing earlier this summer time in San Jose.
The incident occurred round 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 10 at a parking zone within the 3000 block of Senter Highway, San Jose police spokesperson Stacie Shih mentioned in a information launch.
The sufferer was with buddies when the suspect drove into the lot and bought out of his automobile. The suspect requested the sufferer for his gang affiliation, brandished a gun and threatened to kill him, in response to Shih.
“The suspect then discharged his firearm into the air and fled the scene,” Shih mentioned.
The suspect was later recognized as a 33-year-old San Jose man and a “identified and energetic gang member,” in response to Shih. Arrest and search warrants had been issued for the suspect.
On Sept. 5, detectives arrested the suspect in San Jose. He was booked into Santa Clara County jail on fees together with gang-motivated assault with a lethal weapon and brandishing a gun.
