The Asian Cricket Council (ACC), on Friday (September 20), introduced the schedule for the ACC Males’s T20 Rising Groups Asia Cup 2024. The event is scheduled to be performed from October 18 to 27 in Oman.
Identical to the earlier version, eight groups can be taking part within the upcoming version as nicely. The event would be the sixth version of the ACC Rising Groups Asia Cup. The final version of the competitors was performed in Sri Lanka in 2023. Pakistan A had received the event with a crushing 128-run win over India A within the ultimate.
The 5 ‘A’ groups of the complete members of the Asian Cricket Council and the highest 3 groups from the 2024 ACC Males’s Premier Cup will compete within the Rising Groups Asia Cup 2024. The ‘A’ groups of India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan can be combating it out towards UAE, Oman, and Hong Kong.
UAE had received the 2024 ACC Males’s Premier Cup with a win over Oman within the ultimate. However, Hong Kong had defeated Nepal within the third place play-off to qualify for the Rising Groups Asia Cup 2024.
ACC Males’s T20 Rising Groups Asia Cup 2024 teams and schedule:
The eight groups have been divided into two teams. Sri Lanka A, Bangladesh A, Afghanistan A, and Hong Kong are in Group Some time India A, Pakistan A, UAE, and Oman are in Group B. Bangladesh A and Hong Kong can be taking up one another within the tournament-opener.
However, reigning champions Pakistan A and India A will open their campaigns by locking horns towards one another on October 19. The highest two groups from every group will qualify for the semifinals.
Pakistan A have received the earlier two editions of the Rising Groups Asia Cup and can be eyeing a hat trick. India A, then again, haven’t received the competitors since successful the inaugural version in 2013 and can be determined to go all the way in which in Rising Groups Asia Cup 2024.
