Two New York Giants linebackers, Matthew Adams and Dyontae Johnson, are eligible for a return designation from injured reserve (IR) now that the NFL has entered Week 5.
The crew has 21 days to activate them.
On Wednesday, head coach Brian Daboll introduced that Adams’ window has been activated.
The Giants are opening the observe window for LB Matthew Adams, who was designated to return from IR on reduce day. Adams introduced his presence by strolling onto the observe discipline carrying a speaker enjoying “Many Males” throughout Daboll’s presser.

Adams was positioned on IR by the Giants on August 28 with a quad situation.
Johnson suffered an ankle harm through the Giants’ first preseason sport towards the Detroit Lions and was positioned on IR on August 29.
The Giants at the moment have depth at inside linebacker in Ty Summers and rookie Darius Muasau behind starters Bobby Okereke and Micah McFadden, so they could wait a bit to convey one — or each — of those gamers again.
