An Air Canada flight headed to Toronto from Frankfurt diverted to Edinburgh because of an emergency Thursday, the airline says.
A spokesperson instructed CTV Information Toronto that flight AC843 diverted to care for a passenger “affected by an in-flight medical emergency.” The airline didn’t present additional particulars.
In line with the flight particulars on FlightAware, the plane departed from Frankfurt Airport at round 5:30 p.m. CEST (11:30 a.m. EST) and was about to begin its crossover of the Atlantic Ocean when it turned towards Scotland. The period of the flight lasted simply greater than three hours.
