Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey was handled by paramedics Sunday after showing to change into unsteady at a marketing campaign rally for congressional candidate Caroleene Dobson.
Ivey’s workplace stated the governor had gotten dehydrated and is recovering after being handled with fluids.
Ivey, 80, was attending a Sunday night rally for Dobson at SweetCreek Farm Market in Pike Street, about 18 miles southeast of Montgomery, when the incident occurred.
Witnesses stated Ivey was shaking as she stood with Dobson and held onto a beam for help.
CBS Montgomery affiliate WAKA-TV posted video from the occasion exhibiting the governor wanting unsteady. The station reported that members of Ivey’s workers then ran as much as her. An ambulance was known as to the scene.

Dobson is the Republican nominee within the 2nd Congressional District. Ivey has endorsed Dobson within the race.
