The award ceremony for the Kura Grasp competitors for sake and different Japanese alcoholic drinks for France for fiscal 2024 was held in Paris on Wednesday.
The Prix du President prime prize within the sake class was given to “Shirayuki Daiginjo Itami Morohaku,” made by Konishi Brewing from the town of Itami, Hyogo Prefecture. Within the class of shōchū and awamori distilled spirits, “Araroka Matsufuji,” from Matsufuji within the city of Kin, Okinawa Prefecture, received the identical highest award.
A complete 1,223 of sake merchandise and 197 shōchū and awamori merchandise had been put up for the competitors, and so they had been evaluated by about 120 jurors from France’s restaurant business.
