ANKARA, Turkey — A bus carrying Japanese vacationers veered off a highway and crashed right into a ditch in Turkey on Thursday, injuring 22 folks on board, the state-run information company reported.
The crash occurred on a freeway in Afyonkarahisar province, about 250 kilometers (155 miles) southwest of Ankara, the Anadolu Company reported.
The reason for the crash was not instantly recognized.
The injured passengers, together with one who was in life-threatening situation, have been taken to hospitals in Afyonkarahisar, the company mentioned.
