China on Friday stated it wished to enhance ties with Japan, after the nation’s ruling celebration selected former Protection Minister Shigeru Ishiba as its new chief.
“The long-term, sound and regular growth of China-Japan relations serves the elemental pursuits of the 2 peoples,” Chinese language Overseas Ministry spokesman Lin Jian stated.
“It is the one applicable selection,” Lin stated.
