A 38-year-old civil servant, who died simply two months after being employed, was discovered to have been bullied on the office by a superior, in response to the findings of a provincial audit Thursday.
The North Chungcheong Province audit workplace concluded that the deceased, recognized solely by the surname Kim, was subjected to an extreme workload and inappropriate therapy by his rapid superior on the Goesan Nation Workplace. In consequence, the provincial workplace requested the county workplace to implement extreme disciplinary actions towards the supervisor in August. However the official has denied his involvement and appealed.
Kim was discovered useless in a one-room house in Goesan-gun, North Chungcheong Province, on March 4, two months after becoming a member of the county workplace on the lowest degree as a grade 9 civil servant. Police concluded that the person had died by suicide, as there have been no indicators of foul play.
Kim’s household filed a criticism with the Board of Audit and Inspection, asserting Kim had been harassed by his rapid supervisor on the workplace. The household stated he was subjected to an extreme workload, verbal abuse and public humiliation.
The criticism prompted the provincial authorities to launch an investigation into the county workplace and supervisor in April.
