A New England native has taken house the USA’ first medal within the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
Julia Marino, a local of Westport, Connecticut, gained silver after an important second run within the ladies’s snowboard slopestyle Sunday. Marino landed a frontside double cork 1080 on the ultimate leap.
A clear experience and rating of 87.68 helped transfer her to first and later safe silver.
That will not be it for Marino, although.
Catch her once more in a number of days competing within the massive air occasion beginning Feb. 14.
