Delta Air Traces needed to droop scorching meal service on greater than 200 flights out of its Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport hub over the previous a number of days due to a “meals security difficulty.”
Delta stated that operations from the ability had been shut down and scorching meals can be managed by different kitchens.

A message to a flight crew on Friday stated first-class meals could not be loaded due to “an unexpected provide chain difficulty” and that the flight could be stocked with extra snacks.

The service stated no worker or buyer diseases had been reported, and that it gave affected clients journey vouchers or frequent flyer miles as compensation.
Airways serve hundreds of meals to passengers a day, usually by third-party catering kitchens. Do & Co., which works with Delta, did not instantly remark.
In July, a Detroit-to-Amsterdam Delta flight diverted to New York due to a report of spoiled rooster, forcing the service to restrict meals to pasta for a number of days on sure flights.
