Car theft: Between 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 25 and 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 14, somebody stole a car parked at Wheel Works on Prospect Highway. The worth of the car was not supplied.
Identification theft: A Saratoga resident reported receiving an e-mail claiming somebody compromised their Social Safety quantity. No monetary loss was reported.
Identification theft: A Saratoga resident reported that somebody used their private info and tried to open a bank card account.

Possession of a stolen car: At 4:41 p.m., deputies responded to an automatic license plate reader notification for a stolen car at Farwell Avenue and Saratoga-Los Gatos Highway. An investigation revealed the car was stolen out of Vallejo and was nonetheless excellent. Deputies positioned and stopped the car, and additional investigation revealed the driving force was in violation of probation phrases and a passenger within the car had an impressive warrant. Each suspects have been arrested and booked into major jail.
