The principle opposition Democratic Social gathering mentioned Friday it should take steps to question Prosecutor Normal Shim Woo-jung over the prosecution’s resolution to not indict first woman Kim Keon Hee over her alleged involvement in a inventory manipulation scheme.
“The (DP) management mentioned the problem of impeaching the prosecutor basic and concluded to go forward with it,” Jo Seoung-lae, a senior DP spokesperson, advised reporters after a Supreme Council assembly. “The steps and timing of the impeachment can be mentioned with the ground management.”
The Seoul Central District Prosecutors Workplace introduced the nonindictment Thursday, 4 and 1/2 years after the investigation started into allegations that Kim’s inventory buying and selling accounts had been utilized in a large inventory worth manipulation scheme involving Deutsch Motors Inc., a BMW vendor, between 2009-2012.
