Suspect arrested after assault on the Wuxi Vocational Institute of Arts and Know-how in Yixing county, police say.
Eight individuals have been killed and 17 others wounded in a knife assault at a vocational college in Wuxi metropolis, jap China, police stated.
The suspect – a former scholar – has been arrested, police stated on Saturday.
The assault occurred on the Wuxi Vocational Institute of Arts and Know-how in Yixing County at about 6:30pm native time (10:30 GMT), the Yixing police stated in a press release.
Police stated the suspect was a 21-year-old former scholar on the college, who was meant to graduate this 12 months, however had failed his exams.
“He returned to the college to specific his anger and commit these murders,” police stated, including that the suspect had confessed.
