Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) on Thursday unveiled her plan for Democrats “to struggle again” following Donald Trump’s decisive election win.
In an essay revealed by Time journal, Warren detailed how lawmakers should “struggle each struggle in Congress,” Trump should be taken on “within the courts” and everybody ought to “concentrate on what every of us can do.”
Warren concluded, although, by saying that “Democrats presently in workplace should work with urgency.”
“Whereas nonetheless in control of the Senate and the White Home, we should do all we will to safeguard our democracy,” she wrote. Warren urged Pentagon leaders to “subject a directive now reiterating that the navy’s oath is to the Structure.”
And Senate Majority Chief Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) should “use each minute of the end-of-year legislative session to substantiate federal judges and key regulators — none of whom might be eliminated by the following President,” she added.
