KYOTO (TR) – Kyoto Prefectural Police have arrested a self-proclaimed artist of French nationality for allegedly drawing on a poster for a Home of Representatives election candidate.
At round 12:20 pm on October 21, the unnamed man, 41, is suspected of utilizing a pen to attract what resembled a beard on a poster for a candidate within the Kyoto 1st District of the Home of Representatives election in Nakagyo Ward, stories the Yomiuri Shimbun (Oct. 31).
Upon his arrest on suspicion of inflicting property harm, the Frenchman admitted to the costs.
A police officer on patrol found the graffiti and recognized the suspect after an examination of safety digicam footage.
The election was held on October 27. Comparable graffiti has been discovered on different posters. Police are investigating whether or not the circumstances are associated.
In August, the suspect was arrested for drawing on the wall of a restaurant in the identical ward. He was subsequently launched, police stated.
