A girl from Hong Kong was caught for attempting to smuggle 29 protected turtles from the US into Canada.
Wan Yee Ng, 41, entered the responsible plea Friday in U.S. District Court docket in Burlington, Vermont to a single depend of making an attempt to smuggle japanese field turtles from Vermont to Canada.
Jap field turtles are a protected species in Vermont in addition to in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Michigan and New Hampshire.
