Japanese-style burger chain Niku Niku Oh! Kome – owned by Japanese restaurant chain operator Monogatari Company – has launched its first outlet in Hong Kong as a part of its broader growth throughout Asia.
Positioned in Sha Tin, the restaurant has 40 bar seats surrounding an open kitchen. It specialises in freshly handmade wagyu burgers seated on scorching plates or served on rice with egg yolk for a “basic Japanese expertise”.
The wagyu hamburgers are crafted from a mix of Kyushu black wagyu beef and US beef, whereas the rice served is Niji No Kirameki, sourced from Japan’s Tohoku area.
Makoto Hori, senior government officer, Monotogari Company, stated that Hong Kong, being a global metropolis near the mainland, affords the corporate a possibility to lift model consciousness within the Asian area.
“We have now already opened 16 eating places in Mainland China since November 2022, and native prospects have effectively obtained our meals,” he added.
Established in 1949, Monogatari Company has greater than 700 eating places in Japan and abroad, with 15 restaurant manufacturers serving varied Japanese meals, together with yakiniku, ramen, okonomiyaki, sushi and shabu-shabu.
