GOVERNMENT’S UNOPPOSED MOTION TO VACATE BRIEFING SCHEDULE
Because of the election held on November 5, 2024, the defendant is anticipated to be
licensed as President-elect on January 6, 2025, and inaugurated on January 20, 2025. The
Authorities respectfully requests that the Court docket vacate the remaining deadlines within the pretrial
schedule to afford the Authorities time to evaluate this unprecedented circumstance and decide
the suitable course going ahead in step with Division of Justice coverage. By
December 2, 2024, the Authorities will file a standing report or in any other case inform the Court docket of the
results of its deliberations. The Authorities has consulted with protection counsel, who don’t object
to this request.
