Malaysian Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil mentioned he has directed the communications regulator to not re-route net site visitors via native area title system (DNS) servers, in response to a publish on social media platform X on Sunday.
He mentioned he had taken under consideration suggestions from engagement classes carried out by the communications fee and feedback from most people.
The directive, which was imagined to take impact on Sept. 30, had sparked issues about growing on-line censorship and potential harm to Malaysia’s digital economic system.
