TOKYO, Aug 26 (Information On Japan) –
A 29-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a lady in her 40s after following her on a bike as she disembarked from a bus in Hachioji Metropolis, Tokyo.
The suspect, Rikiya Naito, an government at a building firm in Hachioji Metropolis, was taken into custody on suspicion of inflicting damage throughout an indecent act with out consent.
Naito is accused of chasing the girl for a number of meters after she bought off the bus late at evening on July 4th, pushing her down, and inflicting accidents comparable to bruises to her proper elbow.
In accordance with the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Division, Naito had no prior acquaintance with the girl. He allegedly adopted the bus on his bike for a number of minutes, waited for the girl to disembark alone, after which attacked her in a again alley.
Naito has partially denied the allegations, claiming that his intent was not indecent.
In a separate incident in Hachioji Metropolis, one other lady was additionally attacked after getting off a bus. The police are investigating a doable connection between the 2 instances.
