Brussels – Agricultural coverage within the EU should be modified – and now. No less than, that’s what the business itself believes in a considerable report in Brussels.
The report has been developed as a response to the various farmer protests in Europe throughout the winter and spring.
The work has been led by German professor Peter Strohschneider and primarily concerned varied agricultural and meals organizations, but in addition the European Funding Financial institution and the environmental group Birdlife.
Two Swedes have been among the many report’s authors: Professor Uno Svedin from the analysis group Euragri and Lennart Nilsson from the producer group Cogeca.
The report is summarized in ten tips and 14 suggestions on the whole lot from elevated cooperation amongst farmers and transitional assist for sustainable manufacturing to a deal with more healthy consumption and higher working situations.
