A 95-year-old suspect from West Nipissing has been charged with impaired driving after Ontario Provincial Police responded to a visitors hazard Aug. 30.
The incident befell round 12:58 a.m. when the scooter was blocking the roadway on Pine Road.
“Police positioned a low-speed cell scooter stationary in the course of the street,” the OPP mentioned in a information launch Tuesday.
“The operator was arrested for impaired driving after which transported to the OPP detachment for additional testing.”
The suspect has been charged with impaired driving and was launched with a court docket date of Oct. 3 in North Bay.
The suspect’s driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days.
