Former President Donald Trump falsely stated throughout his Sept. 10 debate with Vice President Kamala Harris that immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, are consuming cats and canines.
As PolitiFact has reported, metropolis officers verify there is no such thing as a proof of that.
Now some social media customers are sharing police footage of a lady being arrested for animal cruelty as proof that Trump was proper and the fact-checkers are incorrect.
“An unlawful girl from Haiti ok*lled and ate a cat in entrance of neighbors in Springfield, Ohio,” one consumer captioned an Instagram video. The submit included physique digicam footage of an officer arresting a lady after neighbors stated she killed and ate a cat in a residential space.
A number of social media accounts shared the footage of the lady, claiming she is likely to be an immigrant.

Alexis Ferrell of Canton, Ohio, was arrested Aug. 26 on animal cruelty and disorderly conduct fees after Canton police stated she tortured, killed and ate a cat in entrance of individuals in Canton. Ferrell was born in Ohio and graduated from an Ohio highschool in 2015, The Related Press reported.
Canton lies about 175 miles northeast of Springfield.
Karen Graves, a Springfield spokesperson, advised PolitiFact there are “no credible reviews or particular claims of pets being harmed, injured or abused by people throughout the immigrant neighborhood.” Springfield police advised a native information outlet the company knew of no such reviews about pets.
