YAMAGATA, Sep 25 (Information On Japan) –
Yamagata College, which has been conducting analysis on the Nazca geoglyphs in Peru, introduced the invention of over 300 new geoglyphs, depicting a wide range of topics, together with people and animals.
Yamagata College has been researching these geoglyphs for almost 20 years, throughout which it has found greater than 300 geoglyphs. On Tuesday, the college introduced that, by using extra superior AI expertise, they’ve recognized a further 303 geoglyphs.
Professor Masato Sakai, Yamagata College Institute for Analysis: “We didn’t look forward to finding so many.”
One of many newly found geoglyphs, an orca holding a knife, is believed to symbolize a ritual providing to the gods. Yamagata College continues to analyze the geoglyphs, exploring their ritualistic and symbolic significance, corresponding to getting used as landmarks.
The college expects that almost 500 extra geoglyphs may very well be found sooner or later.
