The Self-Protection Forces will finish their catastrophe reduction mission for the Jan. 1 earthquake on the Noto Peninsula on the finish of this month, Protection Minister Minoru Kihara stated Monday.
The mission is already the SDF’s longest catastrophe response operation.
At the moment, about 120 SDF members are engaged in offering bathing providers to affected individuals in Suzu, Ishikawa Prefecture.
“The catastrophe reduction mission will finish on the finish of August in step with the resumption of private-sector bathing providers and the restoration of the water provide,” Kihara stated.
