FX’s sweeping historic drama “Shogun” was already driving excessive with record-breaking wins when the Emmys kicked off on Sept. 15 on the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
Final weekend, “Shogun” swept the Inventive Arts Emmys, making historical past by claiming 14 awards and setting a report for essentially the most Emmy wins by a present in a single 12 months. The earlier report holder was “Sport of Thrones” with 12 wins in 2015.
