The 2024 Summer season Paralympics kicked off with a bang on Thursday with the opening ceremony in Paris.
Athletes from world wide paraded down the enduring Champs-Elysées avenue to Place de la Concorde, the place round 50,000 spectators watched the ceremony from stands constructed across the historic sq. in central Paris. It was the primary time the Paralympics has held its opening ceremony open air.
From Thursday till September 8, greater than 4,000 athletes will compete in over 500 medal occasions throughout 22 sports activities within the Paralympic Video games.
