The Springfield Thunderbirds have signed ahead Greg Meireles to a one-year American Hockey League contract.
Meireles enters his fifth professional season after skating in 47 video games for the AHL’s Iowa Wild in 2023-24, accumulating 4 objectives and 10 assists.
In 161 profession AHL video games with Iowa, Manitoba and Syracuse, Meireles has totaled 18 objectives and 42 assists for 60 factors. He added one aim and two assists in 5 postseason video games in 2023.
Meireles was a sixth-round alternative by Florida within the 2019 NHL Draft.
