U.S. President-elect Donald Trump stated on Friday he has chosen congresswoman Lori Chavez-DeRemer of Oregon to function his labor secretary.
Trump stated Chavez-DeRemer has labored “tirelessly” with enterprise and labor to construct the U.S. workforce and assist People.
“I sit up for working along with her to create super alternative for American Employees, to increase coaching and apprenticeships, to develop wages and enhance working situations, to convey again our Manufacturing jobs,” Trump stated in a press release.
Chavez-DeRemer, who was elected to Congress in 2022, misplaced her seat to Democrat Janelle Bynum earlier this month
