The Egyptian Public Prosecution has ordered the detention of two Israeli residents pending investigation for allegedly assaulting three lodge employees in Taba, close to the Israel-Egypt border, in line with Egyptian safety sources.
The suspects reportedly attacked lodge employees, injuring them and inflicting property injury, throughout an incident that occurred on August 30.
The Public Prosecution launched an investigation, starting with questioning the hospitalized lodge employees.
Medical experiences from the hospital confirmed that the accidents included a cranium fracture and lacerations.
The 2 Israelis shall be held in custody for 4 days whereas investigations proceed in line with the general public prosecution.
This comes as tensions are rising in Israel, as six our bodies have been found by the Israel Protection Forces (IDF) on Saturday in an underground tunnel within the Rafah space of southern Gaza, sparking nationwide outrage and resulting in a strike set to start right now in Israel.
Of the 251 hostages taken on 7 October, 97 stay in Gaza, with the military reporting that 33 of them are deceased.
