The collision occurred simply after 10am this morning (Tuesday, August 27) after police noticed a automobile driving on the A1 southbound in North Yorkshire.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson mentioned: “The black Nissan Qashqai left the A1 and travelled in direction of Wetherby on the A168. It didn’t cease for officers and was pursued.

Police mentioned a person ran from the scene, forsaking an injured lady and a canine within the automobile. The automobile was seized and brought to a safe facility and the canine was taken to a kennel to be sorted.
The girl was taken to hospital for therapy and has been arrested on suspicion of auto theft, theft, and a harmful canine offence, the police added.
The police spokesperson mentioned: “Two law enforcement officials had been injured within the collision, and had been taken to hospital for checks. Fortunately, they aren’t believed to have been severely injured.”
