The US has returned to Iran greater than 1,000 clay tablets relationship from the Achaemenid-era, official media stated, reporting the sixth such handover of its form.

The tablets represent data of “the rituals and the lifestyle of our ancestors”, stated Ali Darabi, vice-minister of cultural heritage, cited by IRNA.
The tablets had been returned to Iran by the College of Chicago’s Institute for the Research of Historical Cultures, West Asia & North Africa, previously generally known as the Oriental Institute.
