Cole Hocker had no shot at a gold medal within the males’s 1500m on the Paris Olympics. Apparently the 23-year-old American did not get that memo.

Hocker entered the race as a 21-to-1 lengthy shot solely to stun a roaring crowd at Stade de France as he set a brand new Olympic file to safe gold.
