The 2 victims of a latest hearth at Liberal Democratic Occasion lawmaker Kuniko Inoguchi’s residence have been recognized as her husband, Takashi, a College of Tokyo professor emeritus, and first daughter, police stated Sunday.
The fireplace occurred Wednesday on the house of Inoguchi, 72, a member of the Home of Councilors, the higher chamber of parliament, in Tokyo’s Bunkyo Ward.
The reason for the fireplace has not been decided, however the potential for a criminal offense is low, and it’s suspected to be unintended, in response to the Metropolitan Police Division.
