Cadillac secured its first-ever FIA World Endurance Championship pole place, topping the Hyperpole session forward of tomorrow’s 6 Hours of Fuji, seventh and penultimate spherical of the 2024 season, because of a blistering lap by Alex Lynn
Lynn delivered a sensational 1:28.901s lap, securing Cadillac’s inaugural pole place within the Hypercar class and leaving the house followers shocked. The British racer edged out Ryō Hirakawa within the #8 Toyota Gazoo Racing GR010 Hybrid by a mere 0.041 seconds. Finishing the highest three was Dries Vanthoor, who set a 1:29.065s lap within the #15 BMW M Staff WRT entry.
Becoming a member of the BMW on the second row was the #7 Toyota, pushed by Kamui Kobayashi. The quickest Porsche within the session was the championship-leading #6 Porsche Penske, piloted by Kévin Estre, whereas Charles Milesi, behind the wheel of the #35 Alpine, rounded out the highest six for Les Bleues.

FERRARI ON LMGT3 POLE
