North Yorkshire Police mentioned it arrested a 36-year-old man in Station Parade, Harrogate, at 10.46am in the present day (Monday, August 26) in reference to the incident.

A police spokesperson mentioned the lady had undergone medical checks as a precaution.
They added: “The suspect stays in custody for questioning. A small, bladed article has been recovered following a search of the suspect.
“That is believed to be an remoted incident with no wider menace to the general public.
“Witnesses or anybody with info or video footage of the incident are urged to return ahead to help the investigation.”
